Of the shows, yes, but again, behind the scenes is going back to normal! It could have been MUCH, MUCH worse. What if the judge had said they were never allowed in water contact again? But he didn’t he only said during shows. Just that, his entire ruling ONLY APPLIES TO SHOWS.

Is it just me or is San Diego the only park with the spiky bars. I wonder why.

Just because the judge stated that they do not need the bars backstage does not mean that they will not use them. SeaWorld is still free to use any of the devices that they feel will help their trainers the most. It may only apply to shows by the judge’s ruling, but if SeaWorld feels that this needs to be applied to all areas they are free to do so.

Someone asked for the video of them testing the false bottom floors. It takes less than 20 seconds to rise to the top completely.

If you feed a wild dolphin from your boat, that dolphin will start to become a beggar, and beg for their food instead of catch it themselves.  This man was catching shrimp in a net running behind his boat with a pair of dolphins following behind it. When he pulled the net back in, he started feeding the unwanted fish to the dolphins like this.  I’m really proud of taking this picture, first of all to send a message to people, and second because I think it’s just an awesome shot! I took it while on a dolphin cruise in Orange Beach. The captain was telling us how feeding the dolphins is actually illegal.  If you or someone you know goes fishing around where there are dolphins, don’t make this mistake! It can ruin a dolphin’s life! Zoom

SeaWorld’s animal rescue team traveled from Orlando to Three Sisters Island, in Volusia County, Florida, yesterday afternoon (May 20th, 2012) to rescue a stranded newborn dolphin calf.

Wow, it is so precious! Hope he is okay.

Miami Seaquarium, Six Flags, Marineland, Mundo Marino, get a fucking grip and have a fucking heart.

I’m pretty sure the only parks with issues are MSQ and Mundo Marino.

SF is currently trying for…

They have been trying to get Kshamenk for years but no luck. Everyone wants to see Shouka go live with Kiska but who knows at this point.

Alice In Wonderland Test Footage

Walt Disney often filmed actors as models for his animated features. What’s surprising is that the audio from this crude footage for “Alice in Wonderland” is the actual audio used in the film. When Ed Wynn was brought back in to the recording studio to re-do his lines, the reading was not as good as the reference tests, so the test audio was used for the film.

I never liked this film but this is fascinating!

DJ from the Texas State Aquarium died on Saturday. He was acting funny on Friday and before the lab results came back he had passed away. They are performing a necropsy on him to determine cause of death.
